I think you need to offer the COOK BOOK along with the Dessert Bullet in the stores as well. Bought one at Kohl’s and am returning it because we have no idea what to make with it and HOW to make it! This blog has very limited recipes.

I tried several times to make this recipe but it tastes too much like banana. It just doesn’t taste good. Does anyone have another recipe for mint chip ice cream and regular chocolate?

I am so frustruated on how to make good tasting ice cream. I’ve tried over and over and over.

I tried the mint ice cream recipe and it was far from what was said to be. First the mint was only in the beginning not the latter part, too overwheling. I thought I took a big gulp of Listerine and swallowed it. The color was awful non appetizing. It was just basically mushed up banana with the tip dipped in mouth wash.

I also tried the chocolate ice cream. I used coco chips and it came out mushed separately from the banana. There was no chocolate beautifully mixed in with the banana. I tried using coco powder, same thing but on a smaller grainy scale. My taste buds could literally taste the severe difference of the coco powder from the mushed texture of the banana.

The only thing that worked for me on the chocolate ice cream experience was alternating the banana slices with nutella. It came out the most decent and pretty much very good to eat. It looked like what they portrayed on the tv infomercial. However it was hard to clean because half of the nutella was stuck in the musher and behind it. I dont like the idea of half of my recipe being wasted and a huge struggle to clean.

I’m sure there are ways to make the dessert like how it should be. The issue is that either I’m not following the directions, in which they are pretty simple, or I’m being lied to. This dessert bullet for the most part has been severely dissapointing.

The only exception is when I would mix in frozen fruits, that was a piece of heaven. I loved the consistency, the rich flavors bursting and everything about it. I’m just having issues with making the chocolate and mint ice creams. Please help.

It seems your Desert Bullet has a problem mashing things together.

The cookbook shows Mint Chocolate Chip color is green. When you follow the recipe, it does not say anything about food coloring assuming that’s how you got the ice cream green. Do you use food coloring?
